How to qualify for the Taiko Airdrop
- Use the Taiko Testnet Bridge: Visit Taiko’s official bridge and transfer some ETH from Ethereum Goerli (or another supported testnet) to Taiko’s testnet L2 and back. Bridging is usually a key activity that devs look at when rewarding testnet participation.
- Transact on the Taiko L2: Once on Taiko’s testnet, perform some transactions. This can be as simple as sending test ETH to another wallet or interacting with any demo dApp (AMM swap, NFT mint, etc.) deployed on Taiko. If you have the skills, even deploying a simple smart contract (e.g. an ERC-20) can signal you’re a serious user.
- Join Public Testing Events: Taiko often runs public “Alpha” testnet events, where they might ask users to submit transactions during certain periods or stress-test new upgrades. Participate in these events (announced on Discord/Twitter) – they often track addresses involved for future rewards. Pro Tip: Keep a look out for Taiko’s testnet missions or quests – for example, they might challenge users to send X number of transactions or bridge X amount over a week. Completing these not only prepares you for an airdrop, but sometimes the team has given out special NFTs or roles as recognition (which could be tied to token perks later). Also, running a node (if you can) during the testnets is another way to stand out. In essence, be there for Taiko’s Alphas from start to finish, and you’ll be aptly rewarded when their token launches.
